One Person Company
Our law states that only one person can form a company for legitimate purposes. It also describes OPC’s as private companies. It allows an entrepreneur to Operate a business as a separate legal entity.

Application for name availability
The name of the Company must be closed with the word “(OPC) Private Limited”. It is recommended that you submit two names in order of preference. Company name rules and guidelines will be used when applying.
Obtain digital signature (DSC)
During the registration process, all documents are submitted online through the MCA portal. Incorporation forms require certification of directors with a digital signature certificate. The Nominee is not required to obtain Digital Signature Certificate.
Execution of Company Registration Documents
After approval of the Company name, the company incorporation documents such as MOA and AOA must be executed by the promoter in the prescribed format with the documents.
Company incorporation E-form submission
To complete the process, electronic forms with the MCA must be submitted on the MCA Portal for approval.
Generation of Certificate of Incorporation
Once the forms get approved, the certificate of incorporation will be issued under the hand of Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

OPC means a company in which only one person acts as a member. The OPC is a new thought presented in the Companies Act 2013. In the previous law, there is no creation of OPC.
Individuals residing in India and having Indian citizenship may form an One Person Company. One person is only authorized to set up an OPC.
A person who has continuing in Republic of India for a time period of a minimum of 182 days throughout the now preceding one calendar year would be think about as resident of India for the aim of the provisions governing OPC.
No specific mention was made of the number of directors. Several directors may also be appointed by the OPC. The OPC may have a maximum of 15 directors. More than 15 are also possible with a specific resolution.
The OPC voluntarily transforms into any other type of company only if it has been in existence for more than two years.
