Selection of Name for Society

While choosing a name for society registration, it’s necessary that name should not be an even or similar with existing registered society. Furthermore, the name shall not advocate any patronage of state of India or infringing the necessities of Emblem & Names Act, 1950. The founder members of society got to elect one name for the society.

 Drafting of MOA with rules & Regulations

The Memorandum along with rules & rules of society should be signed by each member and witness by notary public, gazette officer, oath commissioner, advocate, accountant or justice 1st class. This must additionally contain details of members of the society registration along with their complete info like name, designation, address and occupation.

Registration Of Society

The registrar of societies are then approached with an application along with the signed MOA, by rules, affidavits and KYC documents of desirous person and officials. After verification of documents the Certificate of Registration of Society is issued.

PAN, TAN And Bank A/C

After registering the company, the next step is to apply for the assignment of the Pan number and TAN, then open an A/C bank for the collection of membership fees, subscription fees or donations, as the case may be.
